BANGKOK, Thailand — World BI Group has announced the launch of the Digital Transformation in Hotel Technology (DHT) APAC 2027, set to take place on 5–6 April 2027 in Bangkok, Thailand. The two-day summit will bring together more than 100 hotel executives, technology innovators, revenue strategists, and solution providers from across the Asia-Pacific region to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities reshaping the hospitality industry.
Now in its 13th year of delivering industry excellence globally, the DHT series arrives in Bangkok at a critical juncture for APAC hospitality. Hotel operators across the region continue to grapple with legacy technology infrastructure, rising operational costs, staff shortages, and rapidly evolving guest expectations — while simultaneously facing pressure to deliver seamless, personalised, and digitally enabled experiences.
Why Bangkok, Why Now
Bangkok's position as one of Asia's most dynamic hospitality and tourism markets makes it the natural host for the region's foremost hotel technology gathering. Thailand's booming inbound tourism, a rapidly growing domestic hotel investment pipeline, and a competitive mid-scale and luxury hotel sector create fertile ground for meaningful dialogue around digital transformation priorities.
"Bangkok represents everything the APAC hospitality market is grappling with — intense competition, surging traveller expectations, a tech-savvy guest base, and a real urgency to modernise," said a World BI Group spokesperson. "DHT 2027 is where those conversations happen at the highest level."
